There are several reasons why one may want to get a current tattooed covered up. For one, there might be a misspelling of a word, which you should triple check before that tattoo gun comes on to make sure that doesn't happen to you. Second, you have a tattoo that you got when you were younger and you have out grown it, or you have done the ultimate tattoo no-no and have gotten a lover's name tattooed somewhere on your body and lastly you just simply regret getting whatever it was tattooed on you.
If you fall into any of these categories, than you pay close attention. You have the option of getting any regretful or unwanted tattoo covered up, however, there is one little catch. You will more than likely have to pick a a fairly large tattoo design to cover that thing up, which means a much bigger tattoo than you probably want to deal with. Which, also means you will be paying a lot more money for that mistake and may feel the cover up tattoo might be on the trashy side because of the much larger size. However, if you visit a good tattoo artist after they are done covering up that unwanted tattoo, you shouldn't be able to tell there was an old tattoo there in the first place. Which can not be said if you get it removed.
So this just enforces everything that tattoo artist's say. Be 1,000% positive that you are going to be ok with the tattoo design you have picked out and that you will be able to live with it forever. Otherwise, you will be finding yourself spending a lot more money than you probably wish to, to cover that ugly or regretful tattoo.
