Growing up with the influence of DC and Marvel, given a power of your choice, what would it be? From the list of all time favourite powers, we have generic powers such as flight, super speed, superhuman strength, invisibility and telekinesis to choose from.
Or would you rather settle for far greater abilities, abilities which could potentially bring an end to the world we know it, abilities like nuclear or weather manipulation.
If I had a choice, I would prefer to be able to turn invisible. Some might think of invisibility as a lame ability, if compared to cool abilities such as being able to turn to flame just like the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four.
To me, invisibility would be a very practical ability to have. Imagine being in an awkward situation, like having your zipper down, or wearing a shirt inside out in public. I could save myself from any amount of embarrassment rather than having to face them.
Another plus of having invisibility is gaining access to restricted places anywhere in the world. Imagine a private tour in the Prime Minister's office, or a one day trip into a high-security prison, and places you've never been to before.
When shopping with limited cash to go around, I could just walk out a store with whatever I want without any worries. I do know that shop-lifting is a crime, but I've always wondered what it'd be like to get away with it.
Surely it is better if I could torch buildings and trees down, but what's the fun in that?
